NHS ‘Make It Blue’ Campaign
Flannels, Oxford Street, London
I created this self-portrait to reflect loss of identity as
a result of mask-wearing but the piece took on a whole new meaning when
displayed out on the street in large scale by W1 Curators with alternating blue
and white background. It ended up generating a sense of respect for the efforts
of NHS staff who went above and beyond during the winter of 20/21.
